The Schaefers – Mbala, Zambia

Grant and Lynne Schaefer along with their children Joel, Hope, Charley, Olivia and Luke serve the churches of Northern Zambia by training and equipping church leaders. They have been based in the small town of Mbala for over 15 years, where God has opened many doors for them to minister in the villages and towns of that area and further afield.

As part of their goal to train church leaders, they run a small bush Bible College called Taila Bible College. Through this means they are able to conduct some formal lessons both in the town as well as in the rural areas, during the dry season.

They also get involved in local outreach programs run by the local churches such as evangelistic outreaches and the Jesus Film outreaches and conferences. Grant has also had numerous opportunities to preach on Sundays as he is invited often to preach, specially at the Mbala Baptist Church, which they attend.
